Johanna Owens, Owner/CEO, Personal Trainer
Coach
Jo is on a personal mission to help heal herself and to help others. After
recovering from multiple surgeries herself, Johanna set out to learn the skills
necessary to change her life and the lives of others.
She received her personal trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2003 and further strengthened her knowledge by continuing her education with post graduate work at the University of Texas in Exercise Physiology.
Coach Jo emphasizes the need for total body fitness. She believes there must be a balance between cardio, weights, core training, and nutrition.
Her expertise includes sport-specific training, including golf, soccer, lacrosse, triathlons, and general athletic training. She routinely holds sport-specific boot camps and also conducts daily individual training sessions with clients.

Charlotte Johnston, Manager of Operations Texas Play Hard, Personal Trainer
Coach Char earned her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2009 and has been trained by Coach Jo to further the company’s mission to help others pursue healthier lifestyles.
She has a focus on individual general fitness and weight loss, group exercise classes and boot camps, sports specific training, and explosive performance and wellness classes.
