Born and raised in Austin, Rachel English is a college senior majoring in studio art at the University of Texas. She is active in many organizations on campus including Young Life and Chi Omega, and she is a devoted member and captain of the UT women’s lacrosse team (currently ranked 5th in the nation). In 2010, she graduated from Westlake High School where she played four years of varsity lacrosse and joined the Texas Play Hard team for her sophomore and junior seasons. Over the years, Rachel has enjoyed growing her involvement with the sport of lacrosse by coaching for various youth leagues, including summer camps, the Westlake middle school team, and the Outlaws.

Jessica was born and raised in Bethesda, MD.  She went to Walter Johnson High School where she played field hockey for three years, ran indoor track for two years and played varsity lacrosse all four years.  She attended The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, where she graduated with a bachelors in Architecture and played varsity lacrosse for two years.  She then went to Denver, CO to work on her Master of Architecture.  In Denver, in addition to studying, she played in a post collegiate lacrosse league, snowboarded and hike any chance she got.  In 2011 she married her husband, Ryan, and they were moved by the Army to Seattle, WA.  After 2 years in Washington, Jessica and her husband have now settled in Austin, TX.  Jessica is now an Architect for PSW Homes designing residential and commercial buildings around downtown Austin.  Jessica has played lacrosse for 17 years.

Alyssa was born and raised just outside of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where she went to Cedar Crest High School and graduated in 2008. Continuing her education, she attended Denison University in Ohio, graduating in 2012 with a degree in Communication, while double-minoring in Philosophy and Dance.


Alyssa has 12 years of experience with lacrosse. She was a four year starter in high school, during at which time she played two seasons with the Central Pennsylvania girls’ lacrosse travel team, Lanco Elite.  At Denison, she was a four year varsity letter winner. Alyssa also played two seasons in South Australia for Division I club teams, Woodville and Glenelg. While overseas, she coached multiple teams ranging from 13 and under girls to 18 and under girls. Alyssa moved to Austin in the beginning of 2013 and served as coach to Merchison Middle School’s club team last season. Throughout the years, Alyssa has assisted in coaching multiple lacrosse camps, including TPH.

Coach McLaughlin was born in Manhasset, New York.  She started playing lacrosse at the College of Wooster in Ohio and was named All Mid-West going to the National Tournament her Junior and Senior year.  After returning to Manhasset she continued to play lacrosse for several more years, while obtaining her masters, and was selected to represent the Atlantic at the National Tournament two more years. 
In 1996, while her daughter was in Kindergarten, she started to coach lacrosse until 2005. After a four year hiatus and missing the role of coach, Coach McLaughlin went back to school to obtain her New York State Coaching Certificate.  Since then she had coach at Our Lady Queen of Mercy Academy in Syosset, New York (was voted sportsmanship award), Full Throttle travel team, and Assistant Coach at West Lake Lacrosse in Austin Texas.  She had also helped coach at the National Tournament for school girls for Long Island and Team Texas. 
Coach McLaughlin is currently obtaining her Level Three certification through US Lacrosse, is a member of Positive Coaching Alliance, and is a proud parent of two colligate players.
